Shanghai H&K Was Awarded the Title of “Technology Little Giant Enterprise” of Jiading District, Shanghai

Recently, upon the appraisal and approval by the Committee of Science and Technology of Jiading District, Shanghai, Shanghai H&K Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai H&K”) was awarded the title of “Technology Little Giant Enterprise” of Jiading District, Shanghai.

In order to implementing the Guidance on Promoting the Healthy Development of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, to facilitate the small- and medium-sized enterprises to transform and upgrade, to focus on their main business, enhance their core competitiveness, and to improve their development quality and level, “Technology Little Giant Enterprise” is issued by the Committee of Science and Technology of Jiading District. Enterprises that are awarded the title of “Technology Little Giant Enterprise” must be equipped with certain economy of scale, and have the innovative capacity in technology, management and service during its research, development, sales and management. This title means that the enterprise is a high-tech enterprise being engaged in business complying with national or the City’s industrial development direction, highly recognized by Shanghai Municipal Committee of Science and Technology.

Shanghai H&K has been engaged in technology research and development over the years, has reached the industry advanced level in the fields including bio-enzyme, gene engineering technology, supercritical liquid extraction technology, precise separation and purification of natural products, and has transformed several high and new technologies, with its products being applied to food and pharmaceuticals industries. Every year, the Company publishes and achieves industrialization of a batch of high and new technology outcomes, applies for over 2 patents for inventions, and publishes more than ten high-quality papers. At present, the Company has obtained 19 patents, including 15 patents for inventions and 4 patents for utility models.

The title awarded to Shanghai H&K means that the Company is recognized by the Government of Jiading District and Committee of Science and Technology of Jiading District, for its operating management, strength, scientific and technological innovations, etc., and also means great encouragement for further rapid development of the Company.
