Guangzhou Owada Carried out the Training on Environmental Protection and Safety Emergency Knowledge

In order to truly improve the management’s organization & commanding ability, rapid response and disposal abilities in terms of unexpected accidents, and to enhance the employees’ environmental awareness and safety awareness, Owada Flavours Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (“Guangzhou Owada” or the “Company”)  organized a training session on environmental protection and safety emergency knowledge for its staff.

In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, the Response Plan for Emergent Environmental Incidents of the Company was filed with the Environmental Protection Bureau. After the Plan is released within the Company, the leadership has paid high attention to it, emphasizing that “We shall truly improve our skills for emergency rescues and disposal of emergent environmental incidents, aiming to actually implement the Company’s Response Plan for Emergent Environmental Incidents”,  and encouraged each employee to proceed from the reality by combining the Response Plan, and to study the knowledge related to dangerousness of production materials, risk identification in the production process, equipment maintenance and management, risk evaluation, risk factors arising from change in surroundings, selection of emergency supplies, medical aid, etc.

The Company also organized the staff to attend the training session on “Learn a Lesson from Accidents and Pay Attention to Emergency Disposal” by one deputy chief engineer of China Chemical Safety Association via live video streaming. Contents of the training session included: the requirements of laws and regulations on emergency disposal, what mistakes had been made in emergency disposal for accidents in recent years, what principles shall be complied with for emergency disposal.

The training session on environmental protection and safety emergency knowledge has effectively raised the environmental awareness and safety awareness of each employee, enhanced their relevant knowledge and skills, which plays a positive role in facilitating the Company’s safety production, and in building a long-term mechanism of environmental protection & safety emergency response. The Company will keep improving its level of environmental protection, and safety production management, so as to create a safe, healthy and orderly working environment for the staff.
