Huabao Flavors & Fragrances Holds Training on Anti-Fraud

Huabao Flavors & Fragrances recently revised its anti-fraud and report system, which was first issued in 2016, to improve governance and internal control of wholly-owned companies and companies in which Huabao Flavors & Fragrances has majority interests, prevent fraud and protect the company’s interests. An anti-fraud leading group led by President Yuan Xiaoqin was created. People at manager level or above, people in charge of purchase and construction projects and new employees from HQ departments, subsidiaries and branches need to sign an Anti-Fraud Letter of Commitment on Integrity and Self-Discipline. The Department of HR and Admin will play a leading role in giving anti-fraud trainings for smooth publicity and implementation of the new system.

On Feb 3, the construction project team of the company held a seminar on the new anti-fraud and report system, where team members studied the new system and held discussions. Team leader Kang Lei said the team has worked hard to create a clean environment immediately after the new system was issued, introducing the system to all bidding parties during a bid opening on Feb 1. Mr. Kang also said new system introduction will be an important part of future biddings.

On Feb 5, Ma Bufeng, member of anti-fraud leading group and deputy audit director, held a lively and interactive seminar for the construction project team, where theory was combined with practice, so people understand the new system better and how to implement the system is clear.

The company will turn to the publicity and implementation of the new system through online and offline seminars or trainings to strengthen code of conduct and create a clean, law-abiding, self-discipline and hard-working environment.
