Employee Care｜ Huabao Trade Union Federation Organized a Health Lecture on “Daily Care of Cervical and Lumbar Diseases”

In the fast-paced work life, cervical spine and lumbar spine problems due to long hours of work over desk become common among working people. In order to care for the physical and mental health of employees and improve their awareness of cervical and lumbar spine diseases and self-prevention ability, Huabao Trade Union Federation organized a health lecture on “Daily Care of Cervical and Lumbar Diseases” in Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park on the afternoon of April 18, 2024.

At the lecture, doctors from the Community Health Service Center of Jiading Industrial District were specially invited to popularize the common knowledge and preventive measures of neck and lumbar diseases. The doctors analyzed the symptoms of neck, shoulder and back pains from all aspects, including the pathogenic factors, symptoms, treatment and prevention, popularized health knowledge to the employees on the spot, and led them to learn cervical vertebrae exercises together, encouraging them to exercise in working gaps to relieve the tension and strain of neck and waist muscles.

After the lecture, some employees also put forward their own questions to the doctors, and the doctors answered their doubts one by one, and gave targeted suggestions. At the same time, the doctors reminded everyone to pay more attention to exercise, improve physical fitness, and raise the awareness to prevent cervical spondylosis and lumbar diseases; and if necessary, they shall go to a doctor timely.
