Happiness Begins with the Care for Life Health: Huabao Employees Got the First Aid Skills

From June 3 to June 6, 2025, the employee care initiative to create a “Happy Workplace at Huabao” and Huabao’s 2025 “Employees’ Peaceful and Safe Scenarios” construction, the “CPR AED & First Aid” training was held in Jiading District and Songjiang District, Shanghai, as well as Yingtan and Ji’an, Jiangxi Province successively. The skill training session, a race against time for life, transformed production lines into classrooms and turned ordinary employees into “first aid pioneers”, building a visible safety barrier for Happy Workplace at Huabao!

“1001, 1002, 1003... The patient has no spontaneous breathing; initiate CPR immediately!” Under the guidance of internationally certified first aid instructors, the trainees fully engaged in the drills. From assessing consciousness to chest compressions, and then to operating the AED defibrillator; from identifying emergency situations to calmly responding and disposing of them, every action was repeatedly practiced and aimed for perfection. The training sites were filled with an “immersive” atmosphere: trainees took turns kneeling on the ground for practical operations, simulating real first aid scenarios, with instructors correcting hand gestures and force in person. Through a “theory+ demonstration+ assessment” stage mode, the employees truly mastered the skills!

“I didn’t realize how crucial the depth and frequency of compressions were!”  “Operating the AED is much simpler than I imagined! Daring to take actions in critical moments, that’s true competence!” “These first aid skills seem simple, but in actual operation, I still felt a bit flustered. I need repeated practice to remain calm and composed.” After the training, trainees expressed their thoughts.

This first aid training, covering four locations, is a vivid practice of Huabao’s ESG strategy of “employee care.” Currently, Huabao has equipped offices and production workshops in Shanghai, Jiangxi Province, etc., with AED devices and first aid kits, making “preparedness prevents peril” a reality. Moreover, the regularization of first aid training synergizes with other care initiatives such as family days, traditional Chinese medicine lectures, and employee expansion activities, making “working with peace of mind and living a healthy life” a true experience for every Huabao employee.

In the future, Huabao will continue to upgrade its “peaceful and safe scenarios”, making first aid skills training a mandatory course for employees, and interpreting with actions that a happy workplace begins with safeguarding everyone’s life safety.
