Huabao Attended the 2020 University-Enterprise Cooperation Education & Teaching Meeting of the Flavors, Fragrances & Cosmetics Division of Shanghai Institute of Technology on Invitation

In order to further facilitate the cultivation of applied talents, and deepen the production-teaching integration and university-enterprise cooperation, on the afternoon of October 23, 2020, the “2020 University-Enterprise Cooperation Education & Teaching Meeting of the Flavors, Fragrances & Cosmetics Division” was held at the Meeting Room of the Library of Fengxian Campus of Shanghai Institute of Technology (SIT). Representatives and experts of the enterprises that maintain cooperation relationship with the Flavors, Fragrances & Cosmetics Division”, including LIU Yi (Project CTO of Huabao Technology Center) and LOU Haijun (Deputy Senior Engineer of Huabao Technology Center) attended the Meeting.

At the Meeting, based on Huabao’s business development, the two representatives of Huabao actively offered advice and suggestions on university-enterprise cooperation, and discussed with present leaderships of the School and representatives of other enterprises on how to deepen the production-teaching integration and university-enterprise cooperation. With the development of times, the flavors, fragrances & cosmetics industry is changing, and the main problem and challenge in cultivating applied talents that universities face is to keep pace with the times and to cultivate talents suitable for enterprise keeping constantly innovative. Therefore, it’s very necessary and significant to hold such meeting on university-enterprise cooperation. In this way, universities could comprehend enterprises’ demand for talents in a timely manner and enterprises could comprehend talent cultivation by the universities, and thus the two sides could keep sound interaction and then achieve win-win cooperation.

SIT is the first college that systematically cultivates technical talents of flavors and fragrances in China; and the Flavors, Fragrances & Cosmetics Division of SIT consists of the International School of Cosmetics, the School of Perfume and Aroma Technology, and the Institute of Oriental Beauty Valley.

Huabao has been attaching great importance to cooperation between it and universities, and keeps good cooperative relationship with SIT. As the external classroom and base for “cognition practice” course and youth employment internship of the Flavors, Fragrances & Cosmetics Division of SIT, Huabao actively participates in the integration of production and teaching of the SIT, and provides cognition on the industry and practice locations for the students, and thus the students could easily comprehend what they have learned from their specialized courses and what their future work will be, and could plan their studies and establish learning targets better. Meanwhile, since some talents of Huabao come from Shanghai Institute of Technology, we also hope to assist SIT to cultivate more applied talents for enterprise development via effective university-enterprise cooperation, thus helping us recruit and select more excellent talents for business development.
