Saying Goodbye to “Phone Neck” and “Phone Zombies”: Huabao Trade Union Federation Conducted Health Training

On May 8, 2025, Huabao Trade Union Federation organized a health training titled “Saying Goodbye to ‘Phone Neck’ and ‘Phone Zombies’”. In the modern fast-paced work and lifestyle, prolonged neck strain from looking down at electronic devices has become increasingly common, leading to discomfort in the neck, shoulders, and back. To help employees enhance their awareness of the discomfort caused by poor posture and master effective prevention and rehabilitation methods, the Trade Union Federation specially invited a professional health instructor to deliver a practical and in-depth training session.

At the training site, the instructor, drawing on his rich experience and professional knowledge, explained in simple terms the causes and harms of “phone neck” and how to prevent and alleviate related symptoms through daily correct postures and simple exercises. Not only did the instructor impart theoretical knowledge, but also led employees in on-site rehabilitation training exercises to ensure that each participant could accurately grasp the key movements. During the interactive session, employees actively asked questions and sought professional advice on their daily health concerns, and the instructor patiently answered each one, providing personalized guidance plans.

Huabao Trade Union Federation has implemented diversified measures to safeguard employees’ physical and mental health. With focusing on life safety, it has conducted professional courses such as “CPR AED First Aid” and “First Aid”, equipped the park with AED devices to build a solid life defense line for employees; it has organized family day events, and employee team-building activities to promote in-depth interactions between the enterprise and families, as well as among employees; based on rights protection, it has created the Huabao Mommy’s House to build a comprehensive care system for female employees. In addition, Huabao actively collaborated with higher-level labor unions to apply for and carry out interest cultivation and health training to help employees achieve self-improvement after work.

Through a series of precisely implemented employee care initiatives, the Trade Union Federation has effectively enhanced employees’ sense of happiness and belonging, creating a positive, healthy, and harmonious work atmosphere for the Company.
