The Company's food flavors history can be traced back to Continental Chemical Society (predecessor of Huabao H & K) - the first national flavor business established in Shanghai in 1912. Continental Chemical Society is the birthplace of China's flavors industry. "H & K" brand was born in 1947.

Relying on its own strength and technological superiority, through M & A and its own development, the Company enters sweet flavor and salty flavor fields, and its products are widely used in dairy products, beverages, cold drinks, baking products, candies, roasted nuts, betel nuts, spices, instant noodles, meat products, snack foods, catering and other fields. 

Founded in 1998, a subsidiary of the Company, Xiamen Amber Daily Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xiamen Amber”) is a NEEQ listed high-tech enterprise (Xiamen Amber: 833164.NEEQ).
Xiamen Amber is a leading industrial player in China’s fragrance market segment, and its products are widely applied in household care, skin care, perfume, personal care, aromatherapy diffusers, crafts, etc. Xiamen Amber is currently focusing on “natural, healthy and safe products” to actively develop marketing options for LTB, personal care and microcapsule fragrances while further penetrating the aromatherapy diffuser market, to provide customers with comprehensive one-stop service solutions for their immersive olfactory experience.

As a demonstration enterprise in the national export food quality and safety demonstration zone, Shanghai Yifang, a core food ingredients enterprise of the Company, has always adhered to the core development concept of “Children-Friendly Food” to provide comprehensive solutions for R&D, design, application and fine processing of fruit and vegetable products for Beverage, Dairy, Food Service and Bakery customers. Shanghai Yifang has more than 300 SKUs of 6 categories including Popping Boba, jam, fruit bits, dry fruit, canned fruit and molecular gastronomy.
The Company has also actively expanded the sweet flavors, savoury flavors and functional food ingredients, and continuously enriched natural healthy ingredients, which are mainly applied in puffed food, noodles, convenience food, processed meat, snacks, etc. The Company focuses on comprehensive solutions of natural extracts in the food and beverage, health and nutrition, personal care and other industries, and its products include natural pigments, functional ingredients, natural sweeteners, natural antioxidants, etc.
