The Foundation Ceremony of Lhasa Huabao Food Co., Ltd. themed by “Nature’s Treasures, Taking the Lead in China” was grandly held in Yajiang Industrial Park, Qushui County, Tibet at 10 a.m. on July 11. Leaders from the autonomous region, Lhasa city and Qushui County attended the ceremony. Journalists from Lhasa TV, Lhasa Daily, Lhasa Evening News, etc., and guests from all fields have witnessed this significant moment together. Mr. XIA Liqu(Chairman of Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd., hereinafter refered as “Huabao”), President Mrs. YUAN Xiaoqin, Mr. CHEN Cong(Vice President, Board Secretary and CFO of the company) attended the Foundation Ceremony together with some other leaders and staff from relevant departments.

Huabao actively reacted to the national strategy “the Belt and Road” and Lhasa’s strategic call of “Strengthen the city through industry development”. By means of combining current developmental opportunities, special regional advantages in Tibet with the company’s future strategic plan, it launched the project of “Healthy Food on pure land” in Lhasa. This not only would promote local economy development, but is also a crucial step for improving life quality of consumers. The project follows the development trend of current food industry in the world, and reflects the strategic foresight and the responsibility of the company that facilitate the development of healthy food industry, thus making tremendous contributions to the development of healthy food industry in China.

Huabao Food Co., Ltd takes unique highland barley in Tibet as the basic ingredient to produce special formula food for medical purpose. The project’s completion will be conducive to promoting “The pure land healthy industry” to develop in a fast and healthy way, thus making “The pure land healthy industry” a pillar industry in Lhasa. It helps Tibet to turn resource advantages into economic advantages as well, thus increasing financial revenues and stimulating the local economy.
