Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin, President of Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd., Attended Tibetan Listed Company Summit Forum 2018 at Changdu and Collective Reception Day Activity for Investors

At 10 a.m. on 5 July 2018, Tibetan Listed Company Summit Forum 2018 themed as “New Era – Facilitating the Development of Tibet with Capital Market” was held in Changdu, a city reputed as “A Pearl in Eastern Tibet”. Over 100 guests were present at the forum, including Mr. CHEN Jun, Mayor of Changdu City, Mr. YAN Xiaohong, Secretary of Party Committee and Director General of Securities Regulatory Commission of Tibet, Mr. GUAN Xingye, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of Shanghai Stock Exchange and Leader of Service Team in Tibetan Regions, Mr. MEI Fangquan, member of Standing Committee of Changdu Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Committee for Development, Construction and Management of New District, Mr. ZHAO Ming, Deputy Mayor of Changdu City and Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Municipal Economic Cooperation Authority, Mr. DENG Mingwu, Deputy Mayor of Changdu City, and representatives from listed and pre-IPO companies in Tibetan regions and relative functional departments of the municipal government. The conference was hosted by Mr. MEI Fangquan, member of Standing Committee of Changdu Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Committee for Development, Construction and Management of New District. Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin, Director, President and Secretary acting on the behalf of the board of directors of Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd., attended and delivered a speech at the summit forum.

President YUAN gave an introduction on Huabao Flavours & Fragrances, its status as a listed company and its contribution to the local economy, society, targeted poverty alleviation and programs for public good after the Company settled down in Tibet. She also mentioned that the Company has relocated its National Enterprise Technical Center, which is the only one in flavours and fragrances industry, to Lhasa Economic Development District. Therefore, it has become the third national enterprise technical center in Tibet, coming after Tibet Cheezheng Tibetan Medicine Co., Ltd. and Tibet Rhodiola Pharmaceutical Holding Co., Ltd.. The Company has invested and set up Lhasa Huabao Food Co., Ltd. in Qushui County to engage in intensive processing of agricultural and sideline products with highland barley as the main ingredient, study and industrialize healthy food and lift the commercial value and economic benefit of highland barley, thus driving the development of upstream and downstream industries as well as raising the living standard in the local. Currently, the project is in the final stage of preparation for construction of Phase I.

President YUAN expressed that Tibet is a blessed place and a starting point for a new undertaking for the Company. Standing at the new starting point and at a new height, Huabao Flavours and Fragrances aims to seek new development and act as a conscientious and responsible enterprise. Relying on the vast domestic consumer market, the Company will energetically seize the opportunities generated from China’s consumption upgrading to give full play to the two-wheel driving force consisting of the industry and capital, proactively extend to the downstream of the flavours and fragrance industry chain while accomplishing its own business well, and will strive to become a global leader in the industry. She stressed that Huabao Flavours and Fragrances would strictly follow the listing rules, maintain transparency and a good governance structure, utilize fund raised well, standardize the Company operation, manage the relation with investors well and enhance information disclosure, in order to pay back customers, employees, shareholders and society with a constant and healthy development. In the end, President YUAN stated that Huabao Flavours and Fragrances will always stick to the ideal of rejuvenating the nation with hard work and stay true to its main business and the industry. It will enlarge investments in Tibet, take full advantage of the local natural resources and business conditions, devote to the development of Tibet Autonomous Region with practical actions and contribute to Tibet’s realization of its “13^th Five-year Planning”, future prosperity and long-lasting stability and building of a moderately well-off society in an all-round way.

After the morning session, President YUAN also participated in the Tibetan Listed Company’s Collective Reception Day Activity for Investors in the afternoon and answered questions raised by investors.
