Convenient nucleic acid test is provided at Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park

Since June 1, Shanghai has entered the third stage of comprehensively resuming normal production and life in the whole city. And according to the COVID-19 pandemic prevention requirements of Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co.，Ltd. (“Huabao” or the “Company”), persons entering the Company and the Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park (“Park”) must provide negative nucleic acid test results within preceding 72 hours. In order to consolidate the achievements of epidemic prevention and control, promote regular management of pandemic prevention and control in a prudent and orderly manner, and also to facilitate employees to receive nucleic acid tests at the nearest location and save the time for nucleic acid tests away from home, a nucleic acid test team was formed at the Park under the support of Jiading Industrial District. Ms. CHEN Jing, Director of Huabao Human Resource and Administration Department, served as the team leader and organized the first nucleic acid test activity at the Park on June 21.

Members of the nucleic acid test team are volunteers from the HR Department and Administrative Departments of companies in the Park. They had passed the exam and possessed required work permit through theoretical knowledge study and strict practical training. The team has set up two sampling windows at the west gate of the Park, where four nucleic acid test persons take turns to take samples quickly, thus improving the efficiency. The team members on site have a clear division of labor and work in an orderly way, respectively responsible for guiding people, recording information (scanning QR code) and taking samples. The volunteers have overcome various difficulties such as high temperature and intense heat to provide the nucleic acid test services. On the first day of this activity, everything went in an orderly way.

People should keep at a distance of 2 meters when waiting for receiving a nucleic acid test, and leave the sample area immediately after finish the sample taking.

According to the arrangement, the convenient nucleic acid test activity at the Park is scheduled from 8:00 to 9:00 every Tuesday and Thursday.

During the period of pandemic prevention and control, the Company will follow the requirements of Jiading Industrial District and continue to provide nucleic acid test services for the convenience of the staff, so as to make nucleic acid test compulsory among all people and cut down trips outside, thus lowering the risk of being infected with the virus. The Company will make its utmost efforts to guarantee the health and safety of its employees to ensure that various types of work are performed in a smooth and orderly manner and facilitate the annual work to proceed smoothly.
