The Second Session of the Second Membership Representative Conference of the Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park Was Held

On February 17, 2023, the Second Session of the Second Membership Representative Conference of the Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park (the “Session”) was held at the Beijing-Shanghai Hall of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park. The Session was hosted by MU Jieqiang, vice-chairman of the trade union federation. A total of 45 representatives, including members of the “two committees” of the trade union federation, attended the Session.

The Session opened with the solemn and sacred National Anthem of China.

At the Session, the representatives listened to, considered and adopted the 2022 Annual Work Report, the 2023 Annual Work Plan, the 2022 Annual Financial Work Report and the Budget for 2023 made by the Second Committee of the Trade Union Federation, as well as the 2022 Annual Work Report made by the Second Expenditure Audit Committee. Through secret ballot, the representatives elected 2 persons as by-election members of the Second Committee of the Trade Union Federation. The Chairman of the Trade Union Federation then read out the list to commend “Outstanding Trade Union Cadre”, “Trade Union Activist” and “Epidemic Prevention Volunteer”.  

After the above agenda, Ms. CHEN Jing, Chairman of the Trade Union Federation, expressed her thanks to the Company and to members of the Trade Union for their strong support and the “two committees” of the Trade Union Federation for their dedication. Ms. CHEN affirmed the Trade Union Federation for its work in epidemic prevention, staff care and trade union construction last year. In 2023, the Trade Union Federation will continue to explore new forms of activities, work hard, wholeheartedly serve the staff, and make new contributions to the strategic development of the Company.

Over the past year, the graim epidemic situation seriously affected everyone’s work and life. The Trade Union Federation firmly put the health of employees in the first place, responded quickly, acted decisively, organized epidemic prevention and condolence activities in time, faced difficulties and forged ahead. At the same time, the Trade Union Federation actively applied to the Jiading Industrial Zone Federation of Trade Unions to establish the “Mommy’s House” and the “Workers’ Home”, to provide meticulous and intimate care and security for the female workers, and to create a warm harbor for the employees of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park.

The Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park will continue to play its role in serving employees, act as a good bridge, always listen to the voice of employees, and strengthen the communication between employees and the Company, continuously enhance its pertinence and effectiveness, further reinforce its cohesion and appeal as a trade union organization. It will give full play to the subjective initiative of “trade union serving employees” through activities, and inject new vitality into the high-quality development of the Company.

The Session ended successfully along with the lofty music of The Internationale.
