Huabao Was Awarded the High and New Technology Enterprise Certificate Again

On November 12, 2021, Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co.，Ltd. received the High and New Technology Enterprise Certificate jointly issued by the Science and Technology Department and Department of Finance of Tibet, as well as Tibet Autonomous Region Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration, for the second time following 2018.

High and New Technology Enterprise is a special qualification established by the State to support and encourage the development of enterprises in the field of high and new technology, adjust the industrial structure and enhance the national economic competitiveness. Once again, Huabao has successfully obtained the High and New Technology Enterprise Certificate, which indicates that Huabao has been fully recognized by relevant national units in terms of innovation capacity, talent cultivation, R&D investment and research achievements, and also demonstrates its strong strength.

Since 2005, Huabao Food Flavours & Fragrances (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co.，Ltd., has been awarded the title of Shanghai High and New Technology Enterprise for many times by virtue of its strong scientific research strength. In August 2016, Huabao moved to Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone in Tibet Autonomous Region and was listed on the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) of Shenzhen Stock Exchange on March 1, 2018. As an important enterprise in the flavours and fragrances industry, the management of Huabao attaches great importance to scientific research investment and team building. In June 2018, Huabao established a project team led by the administration department of the company, with the participation of the finance department, technology center, human resources department and other relevant departments, to officially start the application and identification of “High and New Technology Enterprise” in Tibet Autonomous Region. The company formally submitted written application materials to the Science and Technology Department of Tibet in October 2018. In November of the same year, the company successfully passed the on-site evaluation of the expert group and was identified as a “High and New Technology Enterprise” in Tibet Autonomous Region after the required publicity period.

The application of the “High and New Technology Enterprise” is led by the HR and administration department, with the full cooperation of the finance department, science and technology innovation center, Huabao Lhasa Branch and other teams. With the great attention of the company leaders and the joint efforts of all staff, Huabao once again won the High and New Technology Enterprise Certificate, also fully demonstrated its enterprise spirit of “innovation, pragmatism, loyalty, and collaboration”. In the future, the company will regard the certificate as a new starting point to constantly increase investment in scientific research, strengthen scientific and technological innovation, and develop more “green, nutrition, health” products.
