Huabao Brought Its AI Flavors and Fragrances Creator “Arobot” to CIIE
On November 5, 2021, “Arobot”, an AI flavors and fragrances creator jointly developed by Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co.，Ltd. (“Huabao”) and SAP, was officially unveiled at the 4th China International Import Expo 2021 (“CIIE 2021”).
Huabao and SAP jointly established the trans-disciplinary “Flavors and Fragrances Artificial Intelligence Research Institute”, thus officially starting its digital and intelligent transformation.
Huabao boasts strong historical accumulation, leading technical advantages and systematic theoretical system in the field of flavors and fragrances. With integration of the core advantages of SAP in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence and by virtue of the BTP and SAP business innovation platforms, Huabao has realized the notation modeling of raw material notes, characteristic notes and emotional expressions, thus making the invisible flavors and fragrances visible. And it has taken advantage of classical fragrance types and training modes to constantly adjust and optimize the ratio and material combinations, so as to achieve intelligent flavors and fragrances creation through models.

To Build an International Intelligent Scientific Innovation Platform for Huabao
On February 25, 2022, Huabao and Nancal Nancal Technology Co., Ltd. (“Nancal”) reached a project cooperation agreement, and officially launched the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Phase I Project.
Relying on the advanced management system of Siemens and the rich implementation experience of Nancal in PLM field, Huabao will gain comprehensive insights into and reshape its R&D management system. Huabao will also aim to realize the deep exploration and effective conversion of technical assets through the standardized management of R&D data, break technical barriers and realize multi-disciplinary, cross-regional collaborative development through loop-locked process drive, and get through the whole industry chain marketing of research, supply, production and sales through connection with ERP and other systems, so as to realize the improvement of operation efficiency again.
The two sides will adhere to the principle of complementary advantages and joint development, and explore in-depth communication and cooperation in software tools, management systems, simulation and test software tools and platforms, manufacturing operation management systems, intelligent manufacturing and after-sales maintenance and other PLM fields. This cooperation with Nancal will help Huabao consolidate the foundation of digital transformation, accelerate the pace of digital transformation, and strengthen its efficiency of digital transformation.
