Since then, the Tibet Serf Liberation Day has been set. The snow-covered plateau thus bid farewell to the old system and entered a new era of history. Millions of serfs were completely liberated, became masters of their own destiny, realized their rights as human beings, and enjoyed the civil rights prescribed by law.
