First Aid Training| The Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park Organized Special “AED First Aid” Training

In order to improve the safety awareness of employees, master the basic first-aid knowledge, strengthen the first-aid ability to deal with safety accidents, conduct timely and correct rescue in case of accidental injury and emergency and minimize injury, the Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park actively strived for training resources of superior general federation of trade unions, and organized the Special AED First Aid Skills Training at the Beijing-Shanghai Hall on the afternoon of April 21, 2023.

Huabao specially invited professional trainers from H-Grace for on-the-spot teaching and training. By combining theoretical knowledge teaching with practical operation of first aid skills, the trainer explained the first aid essentials of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the working principle of automated external defibrillator (AED). Through the interactive questioning session with trainees, the trainer helped them deepen their impression and understand the theoretical knowledge, such as the harm of cardiac arrest, the method of judging cardiac arrest, and the method of early identification of heart attack. Then, the trainer demonstrated operation process of CPR and AED on the spot, and focused on the judgment of cardiac arrest, extrathoracic compression, compression depth, compression frequency and other operational links to give detailed explanation and demonstration one by one.

After the demonstration, the trainees actively participated in the practice operation in groups while the trainer gave patient guidance to standardize and strictly correct everyone’s first aid action and operation process, to ensure that the trainees correctly mastered the use of AED and mastered basic on-site first aid skills.

Through this training, the trainees got a clearer understanding of the operation process of CPR and AED, and the importance of “golden 4 minutes” in first aid, mastered first aid methods more skillfully and correctly, and enhanced their self-rescue and mutual rescue skills.
