Continuous Improvement for Excellence│ Huabao Organized a Seminar on Lean Production Management

Implementing lean production management is an inevitable choice for China’s manufacturing industry to change its economic growth mode and participate in global competition, and the only way for China to transform from a major manufacturing power to a great manufacturing power. Huabao is at a critical stage of strategic upgrading and business internationalization. Implementing lean production is not only an important measure to support the strategic upgrading of the Company's core competence, but also one of the core competitiveness to build the Company’s international business.

In order to better enhance the understanding of lean production management of its managerial staff at all levels, form basic management concepts, comprehend core management tools, and lay a solid foundation for the following lean production management promotion, Huabao organized staff from all departments and subordinate enterprises to participate in the “Lean Production Management Seminar” on the afternoon of April 18, 2023. Lean production expert YAN Zhenwei acted the keynote speaker. Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin, President and member of the Board of Directors of Huabao, and the heads of all departments attended the meeting at the Beijing-Shanghai Hall of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park. Shanghai H&K, Jiangxi H&K, Shanghai Yifang, Jiangxi Yifang, Yingtan Huabao, Guangzhou Hua Fang, Guangzhou Owada, Yunnan Tianhong, Xiamen Amber, and other subordinate enterprises set up branch meetings. More than 100 persons attended the Seminar.

From five aspects including the meaning of lean production, introduction of lean production, consensus before implementation, the foundation and progress of lean production management and the internal practice cases, Mr. YAN gave a lecture on the origin, development process, function ways and the current enterprise influence of lean intelligent manufacturing. Through Mr. YAN’s simple explanation and case analysis, the participants formed a preliminary conceptual understanding and basic management cognition of lean production in the shortest time, and deeply felt that lean production is a long-term production management process requiring our continuous improvement for excellence. Only through the improvement of understanding, the effective application of management tools and the full integration with the total quality management, Huabao can improve its production competitiveness and facility the high- quality development.

In her conclusion, Ms. YUAN pointed out that it was the right time to comprehensively promote lean production in the face of external environment changes. The continuous improvement of manufacturing capacity would facilitate Huabao’s transformation and upgrading, promote our in-depth cooperation with major international customers, accelerate the development and innovation of science and technology, and bring forth the new through the old. At the same time, we should carry out the lean production step by step in a planned, organized, phased, scientific and systematic way. In the process of implementation, enterprises at all levels should make solid progress in lean production. Production system personnel should pay more attention to it, and seize the opportunity to enrich, improve and show themselves. Finally, Ms. YUAN wished that lean production would achieve good results and build Huabao’s core competitiveness in production and manufacturing.

With the further development of Huabao’s digital transformation, it will be closely linked, integrated, and promoted with lean production, thus to lay a foundation for continuous improvement in operation management and manufacturing process. In the future, we will fully mobilize and stimulate the potential of employees, and make scientific use of management tools such as 5S, visual management, Kanban management, standardized operation and kaizen to continuously improve product quality and optimize personnel shift system, improve workflow and reduce waste of resources, thus to gradually achieve our lean production management objectives for the best quality, the lowest cost and the highest efficiency.
