Care for female workers | The Women’s Federation of Jiading Industrial Zone investigated Huabao Mommy’s House

On July 24, Ms. YU Xiaoli, Chairwoman of the Women’s Federation of Jiading Industrial Zone, led a delegation to visit Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park for investigation. The delegation carried out in-depth investigation on Huabao Mommy’s House and its work of women’s federation. Ms. CHEN Jing, Chairwoman of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park, led relevant responsible persons of the Village's CPC Branch Committee and Villagers' Committee to accompany the delegation in the investigation.

Accompanied by Ms. CHEN, the delegation visited Huabao Mommy’s House. Ms. YU investigated the environmental layout and the preparation of facilities and equipment in the Mommy’s House, asking specifically whether the breastfeeding disinfection equipment was fully prepared, and understood the use and management of the Mommy’s House in detail. In combination with the actual situation of childbearing age group and breastfeeding of the Company’s female employees, Ms. CHEN introduced the work done during the preparatory period and after the establishment of the Mommy’s House, and reported the proportion of female employees in the Company, the number of pregnant mothers, and the Company’s care for female employees.

Ms. YU gave full recognition to Huabao Mommy’s House and the work for female employees, and stressed, “As the Mommy’s House is an important battle field to care for the health of female employees and safeguard the rights and interests of female employees, Huabao need to do a good job in its daily use registration, regular cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance.” Meanwhile, Ms.YU mentioned that the Company’s trade union can actively carry out activities for female workers, and the Women’s Federation of Jiading Industrial Zone would also offer relevant resources to support the activities and help to jointly promote the physical and mental health development of female workers in the Company.

Founded in 2022 and put into use in 2023, Huabao Mommy’s House boasts warm and beautiful environment, well-equipped facilities, and perfect management system, aiming to provide private, clean, comfortable, and safe rest place for pregnant and lactating women, and provide humanized and warm services for female workers in Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park. The Company and the trade union will continue to enrich the service forms of the Mommy’s House based on the construction of the battle field, and provide more considerate, realistic, and humanized services for female workers.
