In order to further implement the “innovation-driven development” strategy, Huabao Scientific Innovation Center has recently carried out the flavors and fragrances (F&F) technology exchange meeting and the patent database training, taking multiple measures to promote the high-quality development of sci-tech innovation, and facilitate the Company’s industry transformation and upgrading and business globalization.

Build an international R&D system to facilitate global business

In order to further practice the business globalization strategy and build an international R&D system, Huabao Scientific Innovation Center organized the F&F technology exchange meeting. Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin, Director and President of Huabao, Ms. LI Xiaojun, Vice President of Huabao, and other leaders, F&F experts and analysis engineers of the Company were invited to attend this meeting, where they focused on themes including F&F concepts, systems, raw materials and methods to carry out in-depth discussion on the practice of F&F enterprises at home and abroad, pointed out the gap and deficiency between “the Company’s current R&D system and ability” and “the demand of international business development”, and put forward some suggestions for improvement.

At this exchange meeting, the experts analyzed the F&F systems and R&D activities of F&F enterprises at home and abroad in detail, and discussed the influence of customer structure, regulations and other factors on the F&F industry. The participants took an active part in the discussion, and put forward opinions and suggestions on F&F and R&D system upgrading according to their own experience.

The effect of the training was remarkable.

Aiming at the practical problem that the dynamic change and update of patent documents were fast and difficult to track, the present training highlighted the introduction of the powerful function of Patsnap database, helping R&D personnel quickly view dynamic changes in areas of interest, automatically register the latest patents, and monitor alerts, and addressing the problem that R&D personnel have to repeatedly search and screen target patents in massive literature every time. In addition, the use of Eureka R&D intelligence database was introduced in detail, addressing the problem that R&D personnel could not get comprehensive R&D project approval information in time.

The practical operation training of patent database provided efficient and high-quality knowledge service for the Company’s R&D personnel.
