Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park was awarded the second batch of municipal demonstration site for shanghai grass-roots trade union employee member supervision and selected into the excellent case set

Recently, the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions Fund Review Committee issued a notice on the list of the second batch of municipal demonstration site for Shanghai grass-roots trade union employee member supervision and the excellent case set for grass-roots trade union member supervision work. Three trade unions in Jiading District, including the Trade Union Federation of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as “Huabao Trade Union Federation”), Volvo Car Group China Trade Union, and Shanghai Jiading District Central Hospital Trade Union Committee, were awarded the second batch of municipal demonstration site for Shanghai grass-roots trade union employee member supervision. And Huabao Trade Union Federation, as the only one in Jiading District, was selected into the excellent case set.

In order to fully implement the spirits of the 20^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 15^th National Congress of the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions Fund Review Committee carried out the selection work of the second batch of municipal demonstration site for Shanghai grass-roots trade union employee member supervision in July this year according to the requirements of the government measures for the implementation of this work. Huabao Trade Union Federation was recommended by Jiading Industrial Zone Federation of Trade Unions to the superior trade union federation, and awarded the second batch of municipal demonstration site for Shanghai grass-roots trade union employee member supervision and selected into the excellent case set after strict review and comprehensive scoring of experts at the level of district and city.

It is reported that a total of 91 grass-roots trade unions are awarded the second batch of municipal demonstration site for Shanghai grass-roots trade union employee member supervision. Among them, 30 grass-roots trade unions are selected into the excellent case set (including 10 trade unions of state-owned enterprises, 10 trade unions of government departments and public institutions, and 10 other trade unions) to share their work experience.

Since its establishment, Huabao Trade Union Federation has taken multiple measures to promote the construction of a “four-in-one” three-dimensional fund review and supervision system, and followed the principles of openness, authenticity, comprehensiveness, and timeliness to give full play to the supervisory role of employee members of grassroots trade unions. We have established a “four-quarter” meeting supervision mechanism to strengthen the supervision by employee members; formulated the Huabao Trade Union Federation Measures For The Control of Revenue and Expenditure of Funds to supervise the fund revenue and expenditure; timely announced the annual report, income and expenditure, meeting minutes, audit results and more through our OA platform, official WeChat account, and bulletin board, etc.; broadened the channels for employee members’ supervision and suggestion feedback by setting up the “Reception Day of the Chairman of the Trade Union”, the mailbox for opinions and suggestions feedback, and visiting to listen to opinions on important events; and learned real employee evaluations and suggestion feedbacks through anonymous questionnaires and satisfaction surveys. Through this series of effective measures and constant exploration of new ways, Huabao Trade Union Federation has strengthened the supervision by employee members, so as to effectively improve and enhance the quality of trade union work and service.

Huabao Trade Union Federation has built Huabao Mommy’s House according to the “four-star” standard to protect the rights and interests of female employees. We have also created peaceful and safe scenarios for employees, carried out “CPR AED” and “First Aid” course training, and equipped with AED equipment to protect the life and health of employees. Huabao Trade Union Federation has also actively participated in education-related public welfare programs, and donated learning and living supplies to more than 60 poverty students.
