In Jiading District, people have always attached great importance to humanities and self-cultivation. On November 29, 2023, Jiading District held the launching ceremony of the humanities and self-cultivation campaign. GONG Lv (Director of Jiading District Civilization Office), WANG Weiqing (member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Jiading District Education Bureau), LUO Huilan (Deputy Director of Management Committee of Jiading Industrial District), and other leaderships attended the launching ceremony.
Huabao was invited to participate in the campaign and was awarded the “Humanities and Self-cultivation Learning Site in Jiading District, Shanghai” together with Volvo APAC, JD Logistics (Asia No.1), Jidu Auto, and Shanghai Intelligent Sensor Industrial Park. As the starting point of the campaign, Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park plays an important leading and demonstration role in creating a new open and interactive learning experience for Jiading District.

1. Building study circles for the humanities and self-cultivation campaign
Since the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Jiading District has been building a brand of lifelong education, taking the construction of “Study in Jiading” Digital Classroom as an important carrier to boost the humanities and self-cultivation campaign in communities, schools and enterprises, continuously improving the influence and coverage of the campaign, making it a new way of lifelong learning for citizens, and striving to create a batch of circles and chains for the humanities and self-cultivation campaign in the whole district.
The campaign will take “ Technology Promoting Smart Life” as the principal line and focus on the development concept of “smart technology+ humanistic environmental protection” to create a new open and interactive learning experience route of “visit + knowledge presentation + task completion” by integrating the high-quality resources of the five intelligent technology enterprises including Huabao, thus engage the citizens in a young, fun and innovative immersive and interactive learning experience, and enable them to enjoy the smart life.

2. Huabao actively implements the ESG concept
As a listed company with a strong sense of social responsibility and corporate responsibility, Huabao has been adhering to its original intention, actively feeding back to the society, and implementing ESG related work while developing continuously. As the educational council member of the First Education Council of Jiading Industrial Zone, Shanghai, Huabao has been fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and supporting the development of national education.
Huabao has donated schoolbags and uniforms for poverty-stricken areas in Shaanxi Province, Gansu Province, Guizhou Province, and Anhui Province for several consecutive years. Huabao has participated in CAFFCI public benefit activities to donate school bags and uniforms for six consecutive years. In addition, Huabao has donated school supplies to all primary school students in Qishui County of Xizang, to facilitate the development of basic education in border areas; has cooperated with the labor unions to carry out targeted support for poverty students in Jinzhai County, an old revolutionary base area of Anhui Province, and established a long-term mechanism to help poverty students complete their studies better.

Since its establishment, Huabao has attached great importance to school-enterprise cooperation, constantly innovated and explored school-enterprise cooperation models and contents, and created popular science education courses and off-campus classes suitable for students at different phases of studying. For example, Huabao held the first off-campus class for students of Yecheng Primary School in Jiading District before the new semester, engaging the students in fragrance & flavor science, food science and basic research science from different perspectives, and motivating them to set ambitious goals. Moreover, Huabao has established long-term and stable cooperation with several colleges and universities, providing places and opportunities for study, visit, internship, and employment. For many years, the Company has provided cognition practice places and courses training for freshmen majoring in Perfume and Aroma Technology and Engineering of Shanghai Institute of Technology (SIT), helping students understand the future employment and development of their major, and served as a career guide for them.
