Huabao Trade Union Held an Enlarged Meeting of the "Two Committees" for the First Half of 2024

On the morning of July 24, 2024, Huabao Trade Union held an enlarged meeting of the "Two Committees" for the first half of 2024 in the Conference Room of Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park, aiming to summarize the work of the first half of the year, deploy important tasks for the second half of the year, further improve the service quality of the Trade Union, safeguard the rights and interests of employees, and promote the business development of the Company. Fifteen members, including members of the Two Committees of the Trade Union and five representatives from the Audit Department, the Science and Technology Innovation Center, the Financial Department, and the Comprehensive Management Department, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Mu Jieqiang, Vice-chairman of Huabao Trade Union.

Mr. Mu Jieqiang reported the work of the Trade Union in the first half of the year on behalf of the "Two Committees" of the Trade Union. Mr. Mu reported to the attendees on member management, member benefits, female workers’ work, employee activities, awards, and conferences, focusing on the progress and implementation of the "Employee Reassuring Scene Construction" and the public welfare education project named "Flower Growth Plan" of Huabao. In the first half of the year, the Trade Union mainly focused on improving service quality and employee experience internally, while also implementing the Company's ESG strategy through practical actions. Externally, it maintained daily communication with the superior trade union and interaction with outstanding enterprises in other industries in the Industrial Park, strived for more resources, learned from others' strong points to offset its own weakness.

Ms. Yin Jinmei, a member of the Economic Review Committee, reported the financial work of the Trade Union in the first half of the year from the aspects such as the income and expenditure of the Trade Union’s funds and the expenditure details of important projects.

At the meeting, Mr. Mu also deployed the key work of the Trade Union in the second half of the year, including the election of the Trade Union, the application for Shanghai municipal-level awards, visits for public welfare education projects, and team building activities for employees in the autumn. The attendees spoke freely and actively provided valuable opinions on the work of the Trade Union.

 

Finally, Ms. Chen Jing, Chairman of the Trade Union, made a concluding speech. Ms. Chen pointed out that in the first half of the year, the work of the Trade Union was closely integrated with the Company's strategy. With the solidarity and cooperation of all members of the "Two Committees" and the understanding, support, and supervision of the vast employee members, the Trade Union achieved good results and also implemented the Company's ESG strategy well. In the second half of the year, the Trade Union will continue to maintain such enthusiasm for work, promote various tasks in an orderly manner according to the deployment, and strive to achieve satisfactory results by the end of 2024. Ms. Chen emphasized that the Trade Union should always take serving employees and assisting in development of the Company as its own responsibility, play its important role as a bridge and link, complete every task with heart, and make progress every time, so as to continuously improve the experience and satisfaction of employees and enhance the brand image of the Company. In addition, the Economic Review Committee must strictly control the use of funds, specifically, the use of the Trade Union’s funds must strictly comply with relevant regulations, and the Economic Review Committee must fulfill its supervisory and review responsibilities.

The successful holding of the enlarged meeting of the "Two Committees" of the Trade Union in the middle of this year not only summarized the achievements of the past, but also pointed out the direction and highlighted the key points for future work. It is believed that with the care and support of the Company's leadership, the joint efforts of the "Two Committees", and the understanding and participation of the employee members, the Trade Union will definitely grow into a "good family" for employees, a "good helper" for the Company, and a "good organization" for the society.
