Charm of traditional culture| Huabao Trade Union Federation Organized an Embroidered Tuanshan DIY Activity

To further enrich the cultural life of employees, practice the ESG development strategy, and strengthen the humanistic care of employees, Huabao Trade Union Federation organized the “Embroidered Tuanshan DIY Activity” on August 15, 2024, which made employees experience the production process of traditional crafts and feel the charm of traditional embroidery culture.

At the Activity, the teacher prepared Tuanshan (round silk fan) and embroidery tools for everyone, and displayed exquisite embroidery patterns. The teacher introduced the basic steps and skills of making ancient-style embroidered Tuanshan, including material selection, design, embroidery and other links, focusing on satin embroidery, contour embroidery, French grain embroidery, straight embroidery, back stitch embroidery and other embroidery techniques.

After the teacher's explanation, everyone began their DIY. In the process of embroidery, they exchanged with each other, and followed the teacher's guidance, and embroidered exquisite patterns, passing the art and romance of DIY with the needle and thread in the hand.

This Activity has not only improved the employees’ DIY ability and creative ability, but also allowed them to relax and cultivate sentiment in the embroidery DIY.
