Dedicating ourselves to the cultivation of next generation: Huabao’s achievement in public welfare student aid activities

Recently, the Second Session of the First Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the “Meeting”) of the Education Council of Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “Education Council”) was held at Huabao Shanghai Industrial Park. Ms. LUO Huilan, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone, YANG Cheng, Assistant President of Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huabao" or the "Company"), as well as heads of the Education Council units in Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone and principals of some schools in the jurisdiction attended the Meeting. The meeting was hosted by MU Jieqiang, Member of the Education Council and Vice Chairman of Huabao Trade Union Federation.

Before the start of the Meeting, the participants, accompanied by Mr. YANG Cheng, visited Huabao’s exhibition hall to gain a close-up and in-depth understanding of Huabao’s business development, technological innovation, and product situation.

At the Meeting, Mr. YANG extended a warm welcome to all attendees in his speech and wished the Meeting a complete success. Mr. YANG stated that as a member unit of the Education Council, Huabao has witnessed the important role played by the Education Council in promoting the integration of educational resources and facilitating school-enterprise cooperation in Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone. In the future, Huabao will continue to support and participate in the activities of the Education Council, leverage its own strengths, further strengthen and deepen cooperation projects with schools in the jurisdiction, fully support the development of education in Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone, achieve mutual collaboration and integration, and inject new vitality and impetus into education in Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone.

Ms. LUO Huilan subsequently spoke highly of various work tasks carried out by the Education Council. She pointed out that with the strong support of various units, the brand influence of the school-enterprise integration projects in Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone has been significantly enhanced. Through smooth connections between enterprises and schools, the matching degree between the projects provided by enterprises and schools has continuously improved. The work of the Education Council has been highly effective. She looks forward to more school-enterprise cooperation project outcomes being showcased externally and hopes that management teams of various units will pay more attention to and support school work, further strengthen the construction of school-enterprise platforms, and jointly promote the high-quality development of education in Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone.

The Meeting also featured a donation ceremony for the member units of the Education Council, where Huabao and other units donated to the Jiading District Education Reward Foundation for the development of education in Jiading Industrial Zone. Ms. LUO presented donation certificates to Huabao, JIDU Auto, Shanghai Normal University Tianhua College, and Shanghai Tongjia Group Ltd.

Finally, MA Xiangqun, Deputy Director of Food Innovation Center of Huabao Scientific Innovation Center, was invited as a special guest of the expert lecture team of Huabao Science Popularization Lecture Hall to carry out on-site explanations. He led the participants to comprehensively experience Huabao’s innovative products in such aspects as smelling, tasting and observing, thus making them gain a deep understanding of Huabao’s extensive innovative research and product development results under the guidance of its strategic mission of “Green, Nutrition, and Healthy. Everyone benefited from it. 

Huabao will better leverage its technological innovation capabilities, tap into its advantageous resources, enrich school-enterprise cooperation projects, and bring more valuable and vivid science popularization courses to students in schools within its jurisdiction, helping children grow and succeed.

Education is of critical importance to the future of our country and the Communist Party of China. For a long time, Huabao has always been concerned about and actively supported the development of education. The Company has donated books, schoolbags, and other learning materials to all primary school students in Qushui County, Lhasa. And under the leadership of the China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industries (CAFFCI), Huabao has conducted donation activities for schoolbags and uniforms in remote areas such as Shaanxi, Gansu, and Guizhou for consecutive years. The Company officially launched the public welfare student aid brand project “Flower Growth Scheme” this summer, which incorporated all existing student aid activities into this brand project, and implemented project-based management and brand-based operation to enhance its influence, thereby promoting and implementing this public welfare student aid brand project in a sustainable and effective way. Currently, this brand project has been progressively implemented in the revolutionary base area of Jinzhai, Anhui, receiving positive social feedback. The Company plans to replicate the successful experience of student aid in Jinzhai to Jiangxi, Xizang, and Yunnan, helping more children in need and assisting them in realizing their dreams.
