Embarking on new journey and creating new glories together Shanghai Yifang held the 2025 Management Enlarged Meeting

On January 2, 2025, as the new year unfolds, a new look prevails. Shanghai Yifang Rural Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Yifang”) held the 2025 Management Enlarged Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the “Meeting") at the Prime Minister’s Mansion Hotel in Guangfulin Cultural Site, known as the “Root of Shanghai”. This place has witnessed the vicissitudes of Shanghai, much like Shanghai Yifang standing at the juncture of past and future, writing a new chapter between tradition and transformation.
Ms. YUAN Xiaoqin, Director and President of Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huabao" or the "Company"), Ms. LI Xiaojun, Vice President of Huabao, along with other key officers from Huabao, as well as the core management teams from Shanghai Yifang and Jiangxi Yifang Rural Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Yifang (hereinafter referred to as “Jiangxi Yifang”, together with Shanghai Yifang, collectively “Yifang”), gathered to discuss the future development plans of Yifang.

The Meeting was presided over by Mr. ZHANG Jie, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Huabao.

In a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere, Ms. YUAN delivered a speech. She praised Yifang’s achievements in the field of fruit and vegetable products over the past 25 years. She pointed out that the acquisition of Yifang was a key strategic move for Huabao to achieve integration of industry and finance, and promote industrial development through financial means in the field of food ingredients. She emphasized that Huabao has full confidence in Yifang’s business segments, product quality, and team strength, firmly believing that Yifang’s future held infinite possibilities.
Ms. YUAN elaborated on Huabao’s strategic direction, initiatives, and corporate culture, and expressed several earnest expectations for Yifang’s future development. She hoped that Yifang could fully activate human resources, solidly carry out technological innovation, vigorously expand key markets, rapidly promote lean production, and continuously facilitate cultural integration. Ms. YUAN firmly stated that with the concerted efforts of all employees, Yifang would surely achieve leapfrog development!

Subsequently, Ms. LIAO Qin, Administrative Director of Shanghai Yifang, reviewed the company’s 25-year development journey, from the hardships of its startup phase to the transformation after joining the Huabao family, and onto the grand vision for the future, fully demonstrating Yifang’s industry-leading position forged through years of accumulation.

Ms. HOU Xiaoqin, Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Huabao, provided an in-depth interpretation of the compliance management requirements for the subsidiaries of a listed company. She detailed Huabao’s shareholding structure and three-tier governance framework, and emphasized the importance of compliance management in the current complex domestic and international political and economic environment. She noted that the Company closely integrated compliance management with its sustainable development strategy, building a scientific and efficient compliance management system to provide a solid guarantee for future development and help Yifang stand out in domestic and international markets with the strong technical strength and brand influence of Huabao.

Ms. CHEN Jing, Director of Human Resource and Administration Department of Huabao, announced the appointment decisions for core management positions: Ms. LI Xiaojun will serve as the General Manager of both Shanghai Yifang and Jiangxi Yifang; Mr. LI Jie will serve as the Executive Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Yifang.

In her keynote speech, Ms. LI Xiaojun, Vice President of Huabao, Chairwoman and General Manager of Shanghai Yifang, and Chairwoman and General Manager of Jiangxi Yifang, emphasized that this Meeting was a strategic gathering of far-reaching significance. She pointed out that Yifang must not only inherit and carry forward its past strengths and good reputation but also clearly recognize the current challenges; and in the future, Huabao would focus on management optimization and big data construction as the two core drivers to fully empower Yifang and jointly create new glories. She encouraged Yifang’s teams to adopt a sense of ownership and emphasized that Huabao would increase investments in talent cultivation and corporate culture shaping, expecting Yifang to cultivate more excellent management talents and achieve self-value leap on Huabao’s platform.

The Meeting also included a lively on-site exchange session where heads of Yifang’s Sales Department, R&D Department, Production Department, and other departments introduced the actual situation and resource needs of their respective sectors, and then engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as market positioning, product innovation, sales strategies, customer development, and supply chain management.

During the exchange, Ms. YUAN emphasized that all employees must unify their thoughts and establish the sales-driven and customer-first concept. As an empowerment-based headquarters, Huabao will also exert efforts in empowerment and internal control management to promote sustainable corporate development.

Ms. LI Xiaojun stated that Huabao would fully assist in various levels of management at Yifang and encourage employees to actively seek support when encountering difficulties in personnel construction and corporate management. She emphasized that Yifang and Huabao should deepen cooperation in products, operations, big data, and other fields, and comprehensively strengthen the synergy and integration of personnel, business structure, technology, innovative thinking, and market vision.

In his concluding remarks, Mr. LI Jie proposed that Yifang should prioritize innovative thinking, reposition its development direction, promote product innovation, establish an efficient and collaborative business structure, and optimize its product mix. Yifang should leverage Huabao’s advantages to create innovative products, broaden its customer development horizons, actively expand overseas markets, and simultaneously strengthen cost control and optimize the supply chain system. He pledged to lead by example, work diligently, and lead the team to forge ahead.
