In order to implement the spirit of the 20th Congress of CPC and promote the high-quality development of light industry, the High-quality Development Summit Forum for China’s Top 100 Light Industry Enterprises themed by “Building world-class enterprises to serve better life of people” was held in Beijing on July 20, 2023. At the Forum, the lists of Top 200 Enterprises in China Light Industry, Top 100 Science& Technology Enterprises in China Light Industry, Top 50 Enterprises in China Food Industry, Top 50 Enterprises in China Light Industry Equipment Manufacturing for 2022 were issued. Secondly, such enterprises should promote digital transformation, strengthen the guidance of digital concepts and the application of digital technologies, promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial chain of light industry, and lead the high-quality development of the industry. Thirdly, such enterprises should increase brand cultivation efforts, build platforms for brand display, strengthen the quality and differentiation of brands, so that more products with Chinese culture, Chinese elements and Chinese skills can go global.”
